Descripción del proyecto

The National Water Directorate (DINAGUA) is the body in charge of the management and administration of the country's water resources. Under administration it has a total of 570 direct intake works, which consist of hydraulic works destined to extract water by pumping directly from a natural or artificial body of water. The objective of the proposal consists of the development and incorporation of a technological tool that allows detecting direct extraction intakes in the country's water courses. DINAGUA staff participate in the project, with vast knowledge of water resources and public management. In addition, a consultant specialized in Artificial Intelligence will be hired. DINAGUA will have institutional support from Agesuc (Agency for Electronic Government and Information and Knowledge Society).
